Έρχεται από το παρελθόν και είναι σχεδόν νεκρός.
Ο Singapore Sling είναι ένας από κείνους τους τύπους χωρίς λεφτά, σπίτι και φίλους, που κυνηγούν χαμένες υποθέσεις με γυναικεία ονόματα και μπλέκονται σε ιστορίες που δεν οδηγούν πουθενά. Η δική του ιστορία λεγόταν Λάουρα και τη συνάντησε πριν από πολλά χρόνια. Αν και υποψιάζεται πως το κορίτσι που γυρεύει τόσα χρόνια έχει πεθάνει και πως είναι ερωτευμένος μ’ ένα πτώμα, αυτός συνεχίζει να το ψάχνει. Έτσι, ένα βράδυ με βροχή και θύελλα, πληγωμένος και χωρίς να ’χει πια να χάσει τίποτα, φτάνει σ’ ένα σπίτι, γιατί πιστεύει πως εκεί μπορεί να βρίσκεται η Λάουρα. Όμως, στον κήπο του σπιτιού, δυο γυναίκες προσπαθούν να θάψουν το πτώμα ενός άντρα -αλλά o Singaρore Sling με μια σφαίρα στον ώμο δεν μπορεί να κάνει και πολλά πράγματα.
Περιμένει να ξημερώσει για να μπει στο σπίτι με την ελπίδα πως η Λάουρα βρίσκεται ακόμα εκεί… Όμως τα πράγματα δεν έρχονται όπως τα υπολογίζει…

Synopsis
Singapore Sling is the “broke, homeless and friendless” sort of guy, who is always chasing after lost causes bearing women’s names, which lead to nowhere.
His goes by the name of Laura and he met her years ago. Although he has a hunch that the girl he is looking for has been dead for years and that he is in love with a corpse, he continues to search for her.
One rainy, stormy night, wounded and with nothing more to loose, Singapore Sling arrives at a house, believing that Laura may be there. But in the darkness of the night and around an open hole in the garden, two women are trying to bury a dead man… and Singapore Sling, with a bullet in his shoulder, can’t do much.
With the hope that Laura is still there, he waits till daybreak to enter the house.
Yet things don’t turn out the way he expected…
