(4/5/19) Unseen Movies Festival - Προφεστιβαλική Προβολή

Λίγο πριν την έναρξη του 2nd Unseen Movies Festival, μια προβολή προθάλαμος στην ταράτσα του Bread & Roses. Θα προβληθεί το Parable of the Return του Juan Soto. Μια ταινία που αγαπήσαμε ιδιαίτερα στο προηγούμενο Unseen Movies Festival. Καθώς και το Antaral του Ashish Avikunthak, που είναι ένας από τους πιο αγαπημένους σκηνοθέτες του Pugnant Film Series.
Μετά το τέλος της προβολής θα παρουσιαστούν τα trailers των φετινών ταινιών συνοδευμένα από μουσικές επιλογές του Pugnant Film Series.


A film screening in the roof of Bread & Roses, a few days before the official opening of the second Unseen Movies Festival. Two films will be screened, Parable of the Return by Juan Soto and Antaral by Ashish Avikunthak. Parable of the Return is a film that we loved in last year's Unseen Movies Festival edition. Ashish Avikunthak is one of the most favorite directors of Pugnant Film Series.
After the screening, this year's Unseen Movie festival trailers will be featured accompanied by Pugnant Film Series musical selections.

Ο Wilson αφήνει το σπίτι του στο Μεδεγίν της Κολομβίας πηγαίνοντας στην Μποκοτά, αλλά δεν

φτάνει ποτέ στον προορισμό του. 30 χρόνια αργότερα (ύστερα από τις ειρηνευτικές συμφωνίες με το FARC) επιστρέφει από την εξορία του στο Λονδίνο για να συναντήσει την οικογένειά του που νόμιζε για νεκρή. Το ταξίδι με το αεροπλάνο σχηματίζει μία παραβολή ακριβώς όπως το ποίημα του

Porfirio Barba Jaco.

Wilson left home in Medellin (Colombia) on his way to Bogota but he never arrived to his destination. 30 years later after the peace agreements with the FARC, he returns from his exile in London to meet his family who believe him dead. The plane journey shapes a parable just like the title of the poem by Porfirio Barba Jaco

 Τρεις γυναίκες θυμούνται την εποχή τους στο σχολείο και αναζωπυρώνουν τις παλιές τους φιλίες. Μοιράζονται μεταξύ τους ένα περίεργο μυστικό που δεν μας γνωστοποιείται ποτέ. Η ταινία είναι μια κινηματογραφική ερμηνεία του "Come and Go"(1967), του Samuel Beckett.

 Three women reminisce about their times at school and rekindle and affirm old friendships. They share a strange secret about each other that is never made known to us. The film is a cinematic interpretation of Samuel Beckett’s 1967 dramaticule, “Come and Go”.
