Το Pugnant Film Series αυτό το Καλοκαίρι γίνεται
Ένας άστεγος περιφερόμενος κινηματογράφος στα ερείπια της Αθήνας.
Έχετε παρατηρήσει πώς όσο παλιώνει η ζωή σε μία πόλη τόσο τα ερείπια της βρίσκουν τη δύναμη να παραμένουν νέα; Με μια νιότη σχεδόν προϊστορική, παρόμοια με το υλικό απ’ το οποίο είναι φτιαγμένες οι ταινίες.
Μ’ αυτό το αίσθημα προσευχής, επισκεπτόμαστε εγκαταλελειμμένα σπίτια, εργοστάσια, ποτάμια για να προβάλουμε μερικές απ’ τις ταινίες που αγαπάμε.
 
*Οι προβολές θα ξεκινούν το απόγευμα, και θα ολοκληρώνονται το ξημέρωμα της επόμενης, έχοντας τον χαρακτήρα ολονυχτίας.
 
**Λόγω των ειδικών συνθηκών κάθε τοποθεσίας, κάθε άτομο προσέρχεται με δική του ευθύνη.
***Οι προβολές διεξάγονται σε απόλυτο diy πνεύμα. Φερ’ τε φαγητό, αλκοόλ, μαξιλάρια, αιώρες κι ό,τι άλλο χρειάζεστε.
Είσοδος ελεύθερη. Ευπρόσδεκτες συνεισφορές.
 
 
This Summer, Pugnant Film Series will be
A homeless mobile cinema at the ruins of Athens.
Have you noticed that as the cities are getting more and more old, their ruins are remaining young at all? With a prehistoric youth, similar to the material from which the films are made.
With this sacred feeling, we will make some screenings of films that we love at some abandoned houses, factories, rivers and places of Athens.
 
*The screenings will start at the evening, and will be completed at the dawn of the following day
**Due to the special conditions of each location, anyone is coming with own responsibility.
***The screenings will be in a diy spirit. Please bring with you food, alcohol, pillows, hammocks and anything you need.
Free donation entrance.

To bring rhythm and ritual to the apparently meaningless and useless gestures so that we can re-signify our presence in the landscape and in the image itself.

A boy wanders through a graveyard and has short interactions with three people.

Ένα ανοιχτό γράμμα σε ένα αγαπημένο πρόσωπο και ταυτόχρονα σκόρπιες σκέψεις που μπαίνουν σε μια σειρά. Τα πλάνα προέρχονται από προσωπικό αρχείο και από το youtube.

An open letter to a beloved person, at the same an attempt to put some thoughts in a flow. Video footage from my personal footage and from youtube.

Η Σοφία είναι πάλι σε πανικό. Το Σύμπαν αποφασίζει να επικοινωνήσει μαζί της. Ένας αλλο-κοσμικός διάλογους ακολουθεί. Μια συμφωνία για τον πλανήτη Άρη, όπου οι άνθρωποι ονειρεύονται με τα μάτια ανοιχτά και παλεύουν για την αγάπη.

Sofia is panicky, again. The Universe decides to contact her. An other-worldly dialogue. A planet symphony for Mars, where people dream awake and fight for love.

To 2020 όταν ο κόσμος "άλλαξε" με τη βία, ήθελα να επιβεβαιώσω τι ήταν αυτό που άλλαξε και τι όχι για μένα, κι έγραψα το ποίημα, "Διάφανη, είμαι". Η ταινία βασίζεται σ' αυτό.

In the year of 2020 when the world was forced to “change”, I wanted to confirm what changed and what did not change in me and wrote a poem “Transparent, I am.”. This film is based on it.

Κοντά σε ένα παραθαλάσσιο χωριό της Ταϊλάνδης, όπου χιλιάδες πρόσφυγες της Ροχίνγκια έχουν πνιγεί, ένας ψαράς βρίσκειστο δάσος έναν τραυματισμένο άνδρα που έχει χάσει τις αισθήσεις του. Σώζει τον ξένο, ο οποίος δεν λέει ούτε μία λέξη, τον φιλοξενεί γίνονται φίλοι και τον ονομάζει Thongchai. Αλλά όταν ο ψαράς χάνεται στη θάλασσα, ο Τονγκτσάι αρχίζει αργά να αναλαμβάνει τη ζωή του φίλου του - το σπίτι του, τη δουλειά του και την πρώην σύζυγό του.

Near a coastal village of Thailand, by the sea where thousands of Rohingya refugees have drowned, a local fisherman finds an injured man lying unconscious in the forest. He rescues the stranger, who does not speak a word, offers him his friendship and names him Thongchai. But when the fisherman suddenly disappears at sea, Thongchai slowly begins to take over his friend's life - his house, his job and his ex-wife.

ΠΩΣ ΝΑ ΕΡΘΕΤΕ / Location Info

Η προβολή θα γίνει στην ταράτσα του εγκαταλελειμμένου εργοστασίου στη Μεταμόρφωση-Αχαρνές που βρίσκεται εκατέροθεν των οδών Μαρμάρων και του παράδρομου της Εθνικής οδού Αθηνών-Λαμίας (10ο χλμ). Η είσοδος θα γίνει από τον παράδρομο της Εθνικής οδού. Φήμες λένε ότι αυτό το εργοστάσιο είναι στοιχειωμένο από τη σλάβικη θεότητα της Mamuna. Δεκαπέντε περίπου ορόφους πάνω από την ροή της φυσικής κοίτης του ποταμού Κηφισού και παράπλευρα των αερογέφυρων της Αττικής Οδού. Φερ' τε μαζί σας ζεστά ρούχα, φακούς για να ενισχύσετε τα φώτα μας στο κατασκότεινο εσωτερικό του εργοστασίου. Η γραμμή 6 του τρόλευ εξυπηρετεί, καθώς η στάση Αναξαγόρα βρίσκεται μόλις 600 μέτρα από το κτίριο.

This screening party will take place in an abandoned factory, between streets Marmaron and the sideroad of National Road Athinon-Lamias (10 km). The entrance will be from sideroad of National Road. There are some rumors that this factory is haunted from the slavic godess Mamuna.
The roof is 15 floors above the natural river of Kifisos and at the side of the bridges of Attiki Odos. Bring with you warm clothes. If you come with public transpotation, use trolley line 6. Anaxagora station is just 600 meters from the building.
