Το Pugnant Film Series αυτό το Καλοκαίρι γίνεται
Ένας άστεγος περιφερόμενος κινηματογράφος στα ερείπια της Αθήνας.
Έχετε παρατηρήσει πώς όσο παλιώνει η ζωή σε μία πόλη τόσο τα ερείπια της βρίσκουν τη δύναμη να παραμένουν νέα; Με μια νιότη σχεδόν προϊστορική, παρόμοια με το υλικό απ’ το οποίο είναι φτιαγμένες οι ταινίες.
Μ’ αυτό το αίσθημα προσευχής, επισκεπτόμαστε εγκαταλελειμμένα σπίτια, εργοστάσια, ποτάμια για να προβάλουμε μερικές απ’ τις ταινίες που αγαπάμε.
 
*Οι προβολές θα ξεκινούν το απόγευμα, και θα ολοκληρώνονται το ξημέρωμα της επόμενης, έχοντας τον χαρακτήρα ολονυχτίας.
 
**Λόγω των ειδικών συνθηκών κάθε τοποθεσίας, κάθε άτομο προσέρχεται με δική του ευθύνη.
***Οι προβολές διεξάγονται σε απόλυτο diy πνεύμα. Φερ’ τε φαγητό, αλκοόλ, μαξιλάρια, αιώρες κι ό,τι άλλο χρειάζεστε.
Είσοδος ελεύθερη. Ευπρόσδεκτες συνεισφορές.
 
 
This Summer, Pugnant Film Series will be
A homeless mobile cinema at the ruins of Athens.
Have you noticed that as the cities are getting more and more old, their ruins are remaining young at all? With a prehistoric youth, similar to the material from which the films are made.
With this sacred feeling, we will make some screenings of films that we love at some abandoned houses, factories, rivers and places of Athens.
 
*The screenings will start at the evening, and will be completed at the dawn of the following day
**Due to the special conditions of each location, anyone is coming with own responsibility.
***The screenings will be in a diy spirit. Please bring with you food, alcohol, pillows, hammocks and anything you need.
Free donation entrance.

Μια πειραματική ταινία που εξερευνεί τη συλλογική φαντασία ενός σκανδαλώδους αστικού μύθου απ' την εποχή του 2ου Παγκοσμίου πολέμου στην Τσεχοσλοβακία, με μεικτή τεχνική του ντοκιμαντέρ, του αρχειακού υλικού και του animation.

An experimental short exploring the collective imagination of a scandalous urban legend from World War Two Czechoslovakia, combining documentary, archive and animation.

A video diary to beloved friends during the quarantine. A little reminder thatwe are united in any case.

 

050. Το σπίτι τους - Giorgos Gkotzos (2021 - 18')
Ο Κώστας και η σκυλίτσα του η Άμπα ζουν σε ένα υπόγειο κάπου στην Βικτώρια. Ο Κώστας εργάζεται πυρετωδώς για να φτιάξει και να ομορφύνει το σπίτι τους.

Costas and his dog are living together in a basement at Victoria. Costas desires to make their house beautiful.

«Αμυγδαλιά» είναι ένα δέντρο που ανθίζει πριν από την άνοιξη. Είναι επίσης η λέξη που στοιχειώνει τη σκηνοθέτιδα της ταινίας ως παιδί, όταν πρωτοφτάνει στην ελλάδα. Τα βιώματά της μπλέκονται με εκείνα άλλων γυναικών που ψάχνουν χώρο σε αυτή την αφιλόξενη καρτ-ποστάλ της μεσογείου, παίζοντας με τα σύνορα γύρω τους και μέσα μας.

“Amygdaliá” is a tree that blooms just before spring. It is also the word that haunts the director as a child, when she first arrives in greece. Her experiences merge with those of other women as they play with borders, both around them and inside us, carving out space in an off-limits mediterannean postcard.

 ΠΩΣ ΝΑ ΕΡΘΕΤΕ / Location Info

Η προβολή θα λάβει μέρος σ' ένα πολύ περιποιημένο εγκαταλελειμμένο εργοστάσιο στη Ριζούπολη. Το οποίο βρίσκεται επί της οδού Ανθέων. Ακριβές στίγμα στο google maps είναι αυτό: 38.030323, 23.741334. Το κτήριο αυτό βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στο γήπεδο της Ριζούπολης, και ο σταθμός του ηλεκτρικού "Περισσός" εξυπηρετεί την τοποθεσία καθώς βρίσκεται μόλις στα 500 μέτρα από το εργοστάσιο. Η προβολή θα λάβει χώρο στον 2ο όροφο του κτηρίου.


The screening will take place at an abandoned factory at Rizoupoli. It is lovated on street Antheon. Googla maps pin:  38.030323, 23.741334. The building is close to Rizoupoli stadium, also it is close (500m) to Ilektrikos Station "Perissos". The screening will take place at the second floor.
