EDITORIAL
To Pugnant Film Series παρουσιάζει για δεύτερη χρονιά το Unseen Movies Festival το οποίο φέτος θα διεξαχθεί στις 9-13 Μαΐου. Πιστό στη φιλοσοφία με την
οποία συστήθηκε, εστιάζει σε ταινίες πρόσφατης παραγωγής που δε βρήκαν την
ευκαιρία να προβληθούν στις Αθηναϊκές αίθουσες. Το ενδιαφέρον της ομάδας του Pugnant Film Series επικεντρώνεται σε ταινίες των
δημιουργών και σε ταινίες του ανεξάρτητου κινηματογράφου.
Στο πρόγραμμα
ξεχωρίζουν σημαντικές ταινίες του παγκόσμιου κινηματογράφου όπως το Wild Boys του Bertrand Mandico ή το Sylvio των Kentucker Audley και Albert Birney. Θα δούμε επίσης πρόσφατες ταινίες
δημιουργών που έχουν αφήσει ιδιαίτερο στίγμα με την γραφή τους στο σινεμά, όπως
του Ashish Avikunthak και των αδερφών Betschart μεταξύ άλλων. Ενώ τα φώτα αυτού του
φεστιβάλ είναι στραμμένα στους δημιουργούς Khavn De La Cruz και Εύα Στεφανή, καθώς θα
παρουσιαστούν ειδικά αφιερώματα με επιλεγμένες ταινίες από την φιλμογραφία
τους.

EDITORIAL
Pugnant Film Series presents the second edition of
Unseen Movies Festival at 9-13 May. Determined and devoted in independent
cinema and auteur cinema, as always, we will present recent films that never
reach the Athenian screening rooms & audience.
The program highlights in some of the most important
films of contemporary cinema, as “Wild Boys” by Bertrand Mandico, “Sylvio” by
Kentucker Audley and Albert Birney. You also have the opportunity to see the
latest films of filmmakers such Ashish Avikunthak, or Betschart bros etc.
Filmmakers with a very personal sing in the medium of cinema. Finally, in this
edition included unique tributes to the filmmakers Khavn De La Cruz and Eva
Stefani. Several films of their filmography will be presented.
